Sometimes while I’m at work, I feel as if I’m in a strange country with only a few other friends. It isn’t that the setting is very odd, or that I can’t stomach the food. It is the language barrier. The interests of most people at work involve sports in some way, although there are a rising number of gamers and geeks. It is interesting to see the segregation of the groups and conversations. Sometimes, there will be a World of Warcraft conversation on one side of the room while on the other they are discussing the Ohio Buckeyes, whatever that devilry may be.
