Dear all of the people who still look at this,

I’m doing a bit of shameless self promotion here. Like many people, I’m out of a job. I’m trying to get into freelance writing and I’ve got some information on ridingthewind.net about my services.

What I really wanted to find out was whether there are any poetry fans here. I’m conducting a poetry experiment at my website (which I just posted above) in which I ask people to send me themes and titles for poetry and other writing forms and then I’ll write and post the results at the site. As I’ve said before, I would like to come back to HandRooster. I just don’t think I can convince Steph to do it. Thanks for the support.

I’m happy to announce that some changes are coming. I’m relaunching the site and starting the production of the comics again. This time, I’m doing it on my own. What this means for you is that the art will be different, because I can’t draw as well as Steph. I’m going to do my very best to make it look as good as possible and I’m working with different software and the Wacom tablet as well as trying various things on paper and then scanning in the images. The first of the new comics will be published to the site on January 15th, 2009. Until then I’ll be getting the art down, looking into how the site is run, possibly changing from wordpress to something else, etc. We’ll see what happens, but if you show up on the 15th you’ll at least have something new to look at. For those of you still around, thanks for hanging in there. If you want to stay informed I can recommend a couple of options for you.
